One thing I notice when speaking with people who are interested in joining a retreat here, is that on occasions another retreat is not necessarily what they need. I often find that the conversation starts with the participant asking questions about the retreat structure, followed by why they would like to sit with Huachuma, which then leads to how they feel stuck in life. I noticed this is most common with people who have taken part in plant medicine retreats/journeys previous.
I see so many times that people get lost in the integration process and can get caught up in a process of discovering new things to work on. I think it's important to just acknowledge sometimes the big healing achievements that we've already had breakthroughs with, take a time-out and slow down enough to give results of those achievements the time to show up in the world. We will never feel the progress we've made if we are on a journey of constant vigilance. Huachuma can certainly help us slow down and witness ourselves from a place of compassion and contentment but so can a conversation with someone who's willing to listen.
If anyone feels that they need a express how they feel after taking a plant medicine journey or is just feels the need to be listen too, I'm more than happy to be there for you. Please feel free to reach out and arrange a chat. I won't ask for anything in return.
You're doing great!
